High Conductivity Alloys
NKE012 ― High Conductivity Copper Alloy
NKE012(UNS Alloy No. C14415)
Overview
NKE012 is a copper alloy developed by adding small amounts of tin to copper and applying our proprietary rolling and thermal process technologies to improve strength, thermal resistance, and stress relaxation resistance properties while maintaining high electrical conductivity.
At 90% IACS, the electrical conductivity is close to that of pure copper. It is well suited to applications requiring high electrical conductivity and heat dissipation. From bus bars to battery terminals and connectors, it is an ideal copper alloy for use in a wide range of electronic devices.
Features
- 1.Electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity properties close to those of pure copper (90% IACS)
- 2.Superior to pure copper in strength, thermal resistance, and stress relaxation resistance
(Temper EH: stress relaxation rate 30% or below at 150℃, 500 hours) - 3.Excellent bend formability (180 degree contact bending possible at t = 0.64 mm)
