NKC164E ― High Conductivity Corson Alloy
High Conductivity Corson Alloy NKC164E
Overview
Recent years have witnessed demand for copper alloy materials with higher electrical conductivity, to control the rise in heat generation from current flowing in increasingly compact connectors. We developed the high conductivity Corson alloy NKC164E to meet such demand. Along with high conductivity, it has excellent spring properties, bend formability, and thermal resistance. It is ideal for use where connectors for in-vehicle electronics, consumer electronics, or information devices must withstand particularly high current or offer high heat dissipation.
NKC164E is conformant with Japanese Automobile Standards Organization standard (JASO D620) JC300.
Features
- 1.A copper alloy combining high electrical conductivity of 55% IACS and 600 MPa-level strength.
- 2.Excellent bend formability enables contact bending and box bending.
- 3.It delivers superior stress relaxation resistance, even at high temperatures.
