This a website where I can write about my experiences as a wedding planner planning weddings in South Africa. It is dedicated to South African aspiring, novice and seasoned wedding professionals who need advice, inspiration and motivation. My aim is to discuss topics that affect all of us. Our wedding industry is relatively new and our passion and hard work need to result in creating wealth for all of us. Together we can bring an evolution to the wedding profession and enjoy the rewards.

From 2017 I will be expanding my blog to include wedding planning tips brides can use when planning weddings. I would love to hear from brides seeking professional wedding planning advice.

Meet Eve Poplett

My name is Evegenia, or Eve as many call me. I love my husband and we have been married for 13 years. We have 3 gorgeous children together, and they are our world. I adore my three adorable yet naughty dogs.

My mother taught me the value of family, love, courage, and the power of faith. I lost my mother to cancer, and because of that I know the value of each day, people around me and I don’t sweat the small stuff. I am obsessed with shoes, and macaroons…

I love baking, and I am an aspiring patisserie chef and one day, I hope to master the art of making my own macaroons. I listen to Armin van Buuren… and classical music.I cannot live without books or flowers…ever! I sketch, a lot… I love life, and I love weddings.
